The EU Sustainable Energy Week will take place in Brussels and across Europe between 18 and 22 June 2012.

Activities in Brussels will range from a three-day policy conference focusing on renewable and sustainable energy policy issues to dozens of engaging events, projects and exhibits open to the public.

About the high-level policy conference: European institutions and associations are organising the conference to give attendees the opportunity to learn about EU energy policies and support schemes. Attendees benefit from exchanging ideas with other players in the sustainable energy sector, meeting EU staff and pursuing business opportunities. In 2012, the conference is expected to attract at least 4,000 participants from 50+ countries.

About Brussels events and activities: Throughout the Week, in parallel with the policy-conference, organisers will hold special events and activities across Brussels designed to attract attention to energy efficiency and sustainable energy themes.
