This course, which is offered to students of the Bachelor in Environmental Science, aims to provide students with a framework for analysis and understanding that will enable them to better understand issues related to changes in lifestyles in response to current ecological challenges. It allows students to reflect on cases of real-life applications of reforms of contemporary lifestyles.

Launched in September 2015, this course chose the «academic community» as the object of its reflections. UNIL is itself a living community, with inflows and complex processes of «throughput» and outflows. The University must therefore question itself concerning the ecological sustainability of its own practices related to study, eating, research, mobility, etc. The objective of this course is to link contemporary ecological challenges to lifestyle change issues in our societies.
